Grouped by purpose

The three working groups

Vision Support

Macular & retinal antioxidants

Astaxanthin (4 mg) is a deep-red carotenoid produced by microalgae. It is one of the most researched nutrients for visual comfort and is valued for crossing into eye tissue where it helps neutralize oxidative stress from light and screens.

Chlorella (200 mg) is a green freshwater algae rich in chlorophyll and naturally occurring lutein-family pigments that complement astaxanthin's work in the macula.

Eye Health Aid

Marine cleansing matrix

Ecklonia cava (100 mg) is a brown seaweed prized for its phlorotannins, a class of marine polyphenols studied for their antioxidant reach.

Kelp (150 mg) and wakame (120 mg) are cold-water seaweeds long eaten in coastal Asia. Together they supply fucoxanthin and a broad spectrum of marine antioxidants that support the eye's natural cleansing of its delicate tissues.

Clarity & Focus

Trace mineral reserve

Iodine (150 mcg) occurs naturally in kelp and wakame. At this measured amount it supports the steady cellular energy your eyes and mind draw on for sustained focus, without any stimulant effect.

Because OptiPlax is stimulant-free, it will not leave you jittery and can be taken at any time of day with food or water.

How to take OptiPlax

Take one capsule daily with 6 to 8 ounces of water, ideally with a meal. Marine antioxidants are best absorbed alongside a little dietary fat, so pairing OptiPlax with breakfast or lunch is a sensible habit. There is no loading phase and no need to cycle on and off.

Because the actives build up gradually, give the formula time. Most reviewers describe the clearest difference in eye comfort somewhere between the third week and the second month, which is why the multi-bottle supplies are the most popular choice.

Sourcing and quality

The seaweeds in OptiPlax are harvested from managed cold-water fisheries and processed to concentrate their antioxidant fractions. Each production batch is screened by an independent ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory for identity, potency, heavy metals, and microbial limits before it is released. You can review the current batch details on the verification page and read more about our process on the quality standards page.
